e of the more pressing issues facing China are universal. These include environmental degradation, over population and the effects of globalization.
To overcome some of the things ote education reform at all levels.
Introduce sustainable development initiatives.
The implementation of free trade agreement betmerce based economy; an education system that encourages innovation and creativity; increased foreign investment; higher living standards; more efficient use of natural resources.
It is important for us to realize these reforms are both essential and necessary. These will help China to fulfill its vast and unrealized potential on the world stage. It will also contribute more to a globalized world of the new century.
As for the future our task is not to foresee but to enable.

最近，社会上有一场很激烈的争论。大学生是一种稀有特权的享有者，在很棒的地方接受高等教育。但是，我们能面对挑战而无所畏惧吗？我们能够改善他人的生活吗？我们能够承担建设祖国未来的重任吗？
怀疑论者说大学生是被宠坏的一代，一丁点挫折都受不了。但是他们错了，我所看到的大学生正在努力的学习独立生活。我们互相帮助打扫卫生，一起上街砍价购物，一起参加兼职工作来赚零花钱。
怀疑论者说我们除了成绩什么都不关心，从而忽略了性格的培养。但是，他们又错了。我们彼此关心，我们向往自由，我们珍惜公正，我们追求真理。上个星期，很多我的同学去验血，为了给患血癌的孩子贡献自己的力量。
作为大学生，我们是处在人生分水岭的青年。我们都面临一个重要的选择：怀疑人生还是相信自己，每一种都会给我们的人生带来重大的影响，甚至影响我们祖国的未来。我相信我们的同学们，虽然我们依然缺乏经验，甚至有些志气，但是我相信我们有勇气和自信来面对生活的挑战并承担我们的责任。我们正努力准备接受新的任务，用我们所学习的知识将世界变得更美好。我对我们的未来充满信心。

Last Thursday, we had a class meeting to discuss where to go for our spring outing. off early in the morning. While climbing the mountain, we enjoyed the warm sunshine and a beautiful view . However, when we reached the top, we were shocked to see litter here and there, such as bottles and banana peels. Then we started to pick up the litter and put the rubbish into the nearby recycling bin and non-recycling bin respectively.
We were tired but happy.

Good evening， everybody。 I am XXX 。 Now， I am XXX a speech about how to improve our English for you。 TThere are altogether 10 points。
1、What is language for?
Some people seem to think it’s for practicing grammar rules and learning lists of words——the longer the words are， the better。 That’s wrong。 Language is for the exchange of ideas， for communication。
2、The way to learn a language is to practice speaking it as often as possible。
3、A great man once said it is necessary to drill as much as possible， and the more you apply it in real situations， the more natural it will become。
4、Learning any language takes a lot of effort。 but don't give up。
5、Relax! Be patient and enjoy yourself。 Learning foreign languages should be fun。
6、Rome wasn’t built in a day。 Work harder and practice more。 Your hard work will be rewarded by God one day。 God is equal to everyone!
7、Use a dictionary and grammar guide constantly。 Keep a small English dictionary with you all the time。 When you see a new word， look it up。 Think about the word——use it， in your mind， in a sentence。
8、Try to think in English whenever possible。 When you see something， think of the English word of it; then think about the word in a sentence。
9、practice tenses as much as possible。 When you learn a new verb， learn its various forms。
10、I would also like to learn more about the culture behind the language。 When you understand the cultural background， you can use the language better。
Finally， I wanna give you a sentence that is one of my favorite proverbs。 We must accept finite disappointment but we must never lose infinite hope。

“妈妈，明天是我朋友的生日，我要给她买份礼物。”
“妈妈，这件衣服早过时了，帮我买件新的，好吗?”
索取，索取，再索取。母亲和孩子的关系似乎永远都是这一种形式。我知道母亲总是我的靠山，给我一切需要的东西，从食物到衣服，从学费到零用钱。我觉得她所做的一切都是理所当然的，直到有一天，她说:“会不会有这么一天你对我说我已经索取够了?’’
就像孩子无止境的要求一样，我们人类，从古到今，也一直在向自然索求以满足欲望。我们享受家具的美丽与舒适，但我们从来就不愿去想一想由于采伐树林而引起的严重的土壤侵蚀问题。我们认为冬天要取暖是理所当然的事情，却未曾意识到宝贵的自然资源就这样被烧掉。我们高兴地看到现代工业发展带来了繁荣，但很少人会对由于工业废物导致的全球空气和水质污染问题稍加考虑。我们无情的剥削已经永远地伤害了地球母亲。我们从去年夏天的洪灾悲剧中已经认识到，我们不能再继续漠不关心下去了。
最后，站在21世纪的门槛上，我们不禁展望着繁荣昌盛。自然不仅是现在这一代人的母亲，更是未来一代人的母亲。如果我们留给他们的是一位贫瘩、毫无生气的母亲，那么我们会受到子孙们何等严厉的批评?如果我们留给他们的遗产是一个和谐的世界，他们会对我们作出何等的称赞?让我们从现在开始尊重、关爱自然。让我们立刻开展一场建立人类与自然互惠互利关系的运动。我坚信，有了这个新的开始，我们的孩子、孩子的孩子必将生活在一个绿树青葱、空气清新、水碧天蓝的崭新世纪，一个前景更加灿烂的世界!
