索取，索取，再索取。母亲和孩子的关系似乎永远都是这一种形式。我知道母亲总是我的靠山，给我一切需要的东西，从食物到衣服，从学费到零用钱。我觉得她所做的一切都是理所当然的，直到有一天，她说:“会不会有这么一天你对我说我已经索取够了?’’

现在的家长常以为把爱都给了孩子，但孩子真正得到的又是多少呢？他们给的所谓“爱”，是金钱是物质吗？英语中的爱是LOVE，LOVE代表了什么？它代表了：listen（倾听）、obligate（感恩）、value（尊重）、excuse（宽恕）。那做爸爸妈妈的到底给了哪些给孩子呢？
在一个家庭录影节目中曾经出现了这样一个话题问小朋友：当你进入小康社会后，你要怎么样？有很多小朋友都发表了自己的意见，其中有一个小男孩的回答令我留下了深刻的印象。他说道：我要买大房子，但门口要小，只有我能进，爸爸妈妈不能进。这话是多重的啊！他解释的时候说：因为爸爸妈妈在家没有给他一点自由，都是以自己的意志强制他，经过长时间的这样一种束缚，他需要摆脱，需要自由，需要爸爸妈妈的理解和明白。由于现在的父母缺少了对孩子的倾听，他们忽视了爱的第一步，孩子的心理能健康的成长吗？如果你真的在乎你的孩子，你会愿意拿出你的宝贵时间与他们沟通，听他们想说的，而不是要求他们你们所想做的。
父母要关注孩子的精神世界，并给予适时的指导。青春期孩子身心的快速发育，给孩子心灵带来的震荡是巨大的。他们既有面对剧变不知如何而陷入孤独之中的一面，同时又有渴望得到别人谅解、关怀、指导的一面。因此，家长要正视孩子这一精神需要，走进孩子的心灵，成为孩子的朋友，主动承担起减缓孩子情绪压力的责任。尤其重要的是，要尊重孩子的人格，把孩子放在与自己平等的地位上，像对待成人那样，给予应有的尊重、信任，不要把自己的意志和愿望强加在孩子身上。
“宽恕”也是爱的一部分，节目中，很多孩子都反映了，爸爸妈妈整天骂他们，责备他们成绩不好，责备他们没有认真读书，甚至连在复习的途中，离开房间喝口水都会被判作是故意出来偷看电视，然后就不断地唠叨。这种无形的压力让人如何吃得消！这种酷似被冤枉的感觉，做爸爸妈妈的能够体会到吗？忽视了孩子的感受就像忽视了孩子，孩子就在这一点一滴被忽视过程中，渐渐地磨灭了对父母的爱，让爱枯萎！何以现在的家长没发现，现在，心理不健全的孩子比生理不健全的孩子要多，这种心理出现问题的苗头在哪呢？做爸爸妈妈的想过了吗？
成人的影响是潜移默化的，当孩子长大，成了别人的母亲、父亲的时候，他们也同样地学着忽视爱，那么一代比一代的爱要付出的少，一代比一代不会在乎爱，渐渐地，爱在哪里？这个世界还会有温暖吗？
